Yes. The fee for card replacement is P150.00 or 150 points. Members have the option of using their points to pay for the fee. Replacement fee for Sapphire and Diamond is waived.

The BDO Cash Card has no existing functionality that will enable it to be used for Mail Order or Telephone Order transactions.

For Retail cards, card replacement is allowed at issuing BDO branch subject to personal identification of cardholder. For Corporate card, card replacement is done through cardholder’s employer/company.

The BDO Cash Card and the value stored therein is not a deposit account. Thus, it does not earn interest and is not insured with Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC). There is also no maintaining balance required.

A dormant card is re-activated with a financial transaction, e.x. card reload, withdrawal, among others.

Go to the nearest BDO branch, fill out the card sale/reload slipVia ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Internet Banking, Phone Banking or Mobile Banking.

Generic/pre-embossed cash cards can be claimed immediately. For retail embossed and corporate cash cards, card can be claimed within 3 to 5 banking days for metro Manila branches and within 5 to 7 banking days for provincial branches.

  • Minimum - P100
  • Maximum - Amount that will not exceed the balance limit of the card depending on its type.

There are three types of BDO Cash Card:

  1. Retail Pre-Embossed Cash Card
  2. Retail Embossed Cash Card
  3. Corporate Embossed Cash Card

The Cash Card can be used to do various transactions through the following:

A BDO Cash Card is a re-loadable prepaid electronic debit card.  Without having to open a deposit account, you can enjoy the security and convenience of an ATM card - withdraw money and pay for shopping.

  • Pre-Embossed - P10,000
  • Retail Embossed - P25,000
  • Corporate Embossed - P100,000

Cash Card shall be considered dormant and shall be subject to monthly maintenance fee, if there is no financial activity depending on the type of card:

  • Pre-Embossed - 180 days of no financial activity
  • Embossed/Corporate -  360 days of no financial activity

Yes, it is possible for a member to go down from his current membership level, if the points earned, within the year of membership does not meet the required number of points to stay within that tier.
           
For example: Member's current level is Sapphire in 2009 with 4,200 points earned the current year.  By the end of 2009, the member's total points are only 3,000.  The member will then be downgraded to Ruby for the year 2010.
