Frequently Asked Questions
If you are an Android or iOS user, you may delete the old BDO Digital Banking app once you have downloaded the BDO Online app. The old BDO Digital Banking app will no longer be accessible starting August 19, 2024.
If you are a Huawei user, you don’t need to delete the old BDO Digital Banking app yet since the BDO Online app is currently not available on the Huawei AppGallery.
We are deactivating the old BDO Digital Banking app to make way for a new and improved online banking experience.
Yes, you can use your existing active BDO Online Banking account credentials to log in to the BDO Online app. Just follow these steps:
1. Download the BDO Online app from Google Play Store or App Store
2. Open the BDO Online app and enter your existing username and password.
3. Enable alternative login methods so you can easily access your account without having to enter your password each time:
a. Biometrics* (Fingerprint/Face)
b. 6-digit PIN
*Biometrics login is dependent on the capability of your device.
You will receive an email and/or SMS notification for every login attempt using your username and password.
On the login page, tap Need help logging in? then tap I’d like to get my username and then enter your registered email address. You will receive instructions on how to recover your username via email.
Just follow these steps to reset your password:
1. On the login page, tap Need help logging in? then tap I’d like to reset my password
2. Enter your username and the last four (4) digits of your account or card number, then tap Next
3. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number to confirm your account
4. Set up your new password
· Must have at least 8 characters
· Must contain a lowercase letter
· Must contain an uppercase letter
· Must contain a number
· Must contain a special character (except backslash [\], double quotes [“”] and single quote [’])
· Must not be an old password
Once password reset is successful, you can already use your new password to log in to your BDO Online app.*
*Password reset made in the BDO Online app will not reflect in the BDO Online Banking website. You will receive an email notification for every successful password change.
Make sure to input your correct and active Online Banking account username and last 4 digits of your active personal account number.
If you’re still encountering the error, please try to use the last 4 digits of your other active personal account numbers.
You may also try to use the last 4 digits of your active Credit or Debit card numbers.

The BDO Online app is currently available in the App Store for iOS devices, and Google Play Store for Android devices. Our teams are working on making it available in Huawei AppGallery.
In the meantime, you may download the app on devices that have App Store or Google Play Store, or access our BDO Online Banking website at online.bdo.com.ph.
Cash Card Reload is not yet available on the BDO Online app. You may continue doing this on the BDO Online Banking website.
