This security feature protects your BDO Debit Card from unauthorized transactions. If you misplace or lose your debit card, you can lock or freeze your card to prevent ATM transactions, and in-store & online payments from being processed. You can simply unlock your card if you want to use it again.

- Tap the BDO Debit Card that you would like to lock, then toggle on Lock Card.

Yes, you can continue to transact with BDO Online Banking using your account. Locking your debit card will only prevent card-based transactions. You can continue to perform the following transactions: Pay Bills, Send Money, reload prepaid mobile and Cash Cards, and others.
No. You may lock or unlock your card/s anytime, anywhere, at your convenience.
Changing the limits of your BDO Debit Card allows you to set your own limit if you want to make bigger purchases or control your spending. You may change the daily limits to your preferred amount. To learn more, watch this video.
- Once you’re logged in, tap More, then Manage Cards
- Tap the debit card that you would like to change the daily spending limits, tap Set Daily Card Limits, then Edit
- You can set daily card limits for the following:
a. ATM Withdrawals – Cash withdrawal limit via ATM
b. PIN-based Purchases – In-store purchases that require a signature or PIN
c. No-PIN Purchases – Online purchases or in-store purchases that don’t require a PIN
d. Online Purchases – Sub-limit of No-PIN purchases

- Confirm your transaction with biometrics or by entering your 6-digit PIN
You will get acknowledged when the debit card limits are successfully updated.
The limit you set for your BDO Debit Card will automatically be updated real-time. You may transact (withdraw or purchase) until you reach your set limit, but the allowable transaction/s will still be dependent on your account's available balance.
Yes, but the ATM limit and Purchase limit you set will still be dependent on your account's available balance. If you withdraw up to your daily ATM limit, you can still use your BDO Debit Card's remaining balance for "PIN-Based" or "No PIN" Purchases, and vice versa. Please ensure that your account is sufficiently funded in order for your transactions to be successful.
No. You may change the transaction limits anytime and anywhere, at your convenience.
No. The transaction limit you have set will not expire.
The Overseas Transactions feature enables or disables the use of your BDO Debit Card for overseas transactions.
Overseas Transactions included are ATM and Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions done overseas and Online transactions via websites and platforms that process payments outside the Philippines.
- Once you're logged in, tap More, then Manage Cards
- Tap the card that you would like to disable overseas transactions for, then toggle on Disable Overseas Transactions.
- You will get acknowledged when the debit card is successfully disabled for overseas transactions.

- Tap the card you would like to enable, then toggle off Disable Overseas Transactions
- Confirm your transaction with biometrics or by entering your 6-digit PIN

- Click More Options
- Look for Transactions processed overseas. Slide the toggle button to activate or deactivate this setting
- Click Save, then Submit
- Request for OTP via SMS, then enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to confirm your settings
