If you are a BDO Pay user, follow these steps to link and activate your Rewards online:

Step 1

Open the BDO Pay app and log in.

Step 2

Once logged in, tap the More button located at the lower right of your app dashboard.

Step 3

Select Link/Unlink Accounts under Manage Accounts and Login section.

Step 4

On the Manage Accounts screen, tick the box for Rewards Card and tap Update. A confirmation screen will appear. Tap Done to complete the update.

Step 5

Go back to your dashboard and from there, swipe right to see your Rewards card.

Step 6

Tap Activate Card below the Rewards card.

Step 7

Start enjoying your Rewards online!

If you are not yet on BDO Pay, follow these steps to download the app and activate your Rewards online:

Step 1

Download BDO Pay app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and log in.

On your dashboard, swipe right to see your inactive Rewards card.

Step 3

Tap Activate Card below the Rewards card.

Rewards Program
Rewards on BDO Pay

All BDO personal peso/dollar savings or checking account holders of at least 12 years of age are automatically qualified for the Rewards program and will be issued a Rewards card in BDO Pay. To get started, you must activate your Rewards membership. For ways to activate, click here.

The membership level that will be assigned to you is based on your personal savings/checking account. This is determined by its Month-to-Date Average Daily Balance (MTD ADB):

Emerald Card
Less than ₱500,000 Pesos (or equivalent US Dollar) Savings or Checking Account

Sapphire Card
At least ₱500,000 Pesos (or equivalent US Dollar) Savings or Checking Account

Diamond Card
At least ₱5 Million Pesos (or equivalent US Dollar) Savings or Checking Account

Note: Upgrade/Downgrade of tier will depend on maintained ADB for one full calendar year. New tier assignment will be advised every February of the current year.

Both the Rewards card on BDO Pay and the physical card are cards you can use to make transactions in the program. The difference is that the online card cannot be used for point-of-sale transactions in SM and SM affiliates. Additionally, only Diamond members are automatically issued a physical card. It is only given upon request to Sapphire and Emerald members who were previously issued one, and for a fee. On the other hand, all members are issued a Rewards card via BDO Pay by default.

Upon activation of your Rewards membership, you will receive either an SMS or email from BDO Rewards about the overall program mechanics. For Diamond Rewards members, your respective branch officers will notify you of your welcome kits for branch pick-up.

You can activate your Rewards card in three ways:

A. via BDO Pay
You can activate your card through the BDO Pay app by following these steps:

For existing BDO Pay users
1. Open the BDO Pay app and log in.
2. Upon log in, from the dashboard, select 'More' at the lower right corner of the screen
3. From there, tap on 'Link/Unlink Accounts'.
4. Tick the box for 'BDO Rewards Card'.
5. Go back to the dashboard and swipe right through the cards to show your BDO Rewards card.
6. Once your Rewards card is on screen, tap 'Activate Card'.
7. Your card is now active!

For new BDO Pay users
1. Download the BDO Pay app and log in with your BDO Online account details.
2. On your dashboard, swipe right to see your inactive Rewards card.
3. Tap Activate Card below the Rewards card.
4. Your card is now active!

C. via Branch of Account
Visit your branch of account to request for card activation.

You will start earning points when you maintain at least ₱50K monthly average daily balance. One (1) Rewards Peso Point will be awarded for every ₱10K. One point is equal to ₱1.00.

The Rewards card on BDO Pay does not have an expiry date and will serve as your lifetime Rewards number when you bank with BDO. Terms and Conditions or the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of the BDO Rewards card will still apply.
