Program Information

The Free Priority Pass Lounge Visit is open to all BDO Visa Platinum Cardholders whether Principal or Supplementary, who are enrolled to Priority Pass. The Priority Pass Membership card must be linked to the Cardholder’s active BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card to qualify for the free lounge visit.

The card must be in good credit standing and not delinquent at the time of reversal.

No. To avail of the Free Lounge Visit, you must use the Priority Pass Card that is linked to your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card.

The first six (6) digits of your BDO Visa Platinum Account (464995) should match with the first six (6) digits of your Priority Pass Card.

Yes. You will need to apply for a separate Priority Pass Card that will be linked to your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card. It is up to you whether you want to retain your Priority Pass Card with another Brand.

Once qualified, the USD25 Priority Pass Visit Fee (per use of the lounge)* will automatically be reversed and posted as “Priority Pass Lounge Access – Reversal” on your succeeding statement of account. No need to request for waiver.

No. Only the Cardholder (whether Principal or Supplementary) who is enrolled to Priority Pass and has met the required spend is eligible to avail the free lounge visit. The free lounge visit is not transferable to his/her Supplementary (and vice versa).

No. The Free Priority Pass Lounge Visit only applies to the lounge visit fee of the BDO Visa Platinum Cardholder and is not applicable to the lounge visit fees of guests traveling with the Cardholder.

Yes. You can enjoy up to six (6) Free Lounge Visits within one (1) calendar year.

Example:
If you avail of the free lounge visit in October 2023 for the first time, you can still enjoy up to five (5) free lounge visits until December 2023. The free lounge visit counter will reset to zero on the succeeding year.

  1. The Free Priority Pass Lounge Visits is open to all BDO Visa Platinum Cardholders whether Principal or Supplementary, who are enrolled to Priority Pass. The Priority Pass Membership card must be linked to the Cardholder’s active BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card to be eligible for the free lounge visit.

  2. To qualify for the FREE Lounge Visit, the Cardholder must have a minimum spend of P50,000 or USD1,000 whether straight or installment on airline/hotel/lodging/cruise/travel and tours using his/her BDO Visa Platinum within six (6) months prior to the lounge visit date. Transactions from a Virtual Card linked to the Cardholder's BDO Visa Platinum are also qualified. For installment transactions, the reference will be the Principal Amount of the transaction posted to the Cardholder's account.

    Purchases may be single or accumulated and can be a combination of airline/hotel/lodging/cruise/travel and tours transactions*. For accumulated purchases, the minimum amount per transaction must be P20,000 or USD400.

    Example 1:
    If visit date is October 1, 2023, retail or straight charges for airline / lodging / cruise / or travel and tours transactions must be made between April 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023.

    If visit date is October 1, 2023, and if there is a qualified transaction on installment, Principal Amount posted to the Cardholder's account from April 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023 will be considered.

    Once qualified, the USD25 Priority Pass Visit Fee (per use of the lounge)** will automatically be reversed and posted on the Cardholder's succeeding Statement of Account. No need to request for waiver.

    Note that the card must be in good credit standing and not delinquent at the time of reversal.

  3. Cardholders must present their Priority Pass Membership Card at any of the accredited Priority Pass Lounges worldwide. The Free Priority Pass Lounge Visit only applies to the lounge visit fee of the BDO Visa Platinum Cardholder and is not applicable to the lounge visit fees of guests traveling with the Cardholder.

  4. The Cardholder is entitled to only one (1) Free Priority Pass Lounge Visit per qualified transaction.

    Example 1:
    If a Cardholder spends P100,000 or USD2,000 on a single-transaction purchase, this only entitles him/her to one (1) free lounge visit.

    Example 2:
    For installment transactions, if Cardholder has principal transaction amounting to P300,000 at 3-months installment, this only entitles Cardholder to one free lounge reversal. The Principal Amount is considered and not the monthly amortization.

  5. A Cardholder may enjoy up to six (6) FREE Priority Pass Lounge Visits within one (1) calendar year.

    Example:
    If a Cardholder avails of the free lounge visit in October 2023 for the first time, he/she can still enjoy up to five (5) free lounge visits until December 2023. The free lounge visit counter will reset to zero on the succeeding year.

  6. Incidental air travel expenses or hotel bookings such as upgrades, mileage points purchases, mileage points transfer fees, and award tickets are not qualified.

  7. BDO reserves the right to charge back the Priority Pass Lounge Visit fee reversal awarded to the Cardholder in the event that the qualifying transactions were cancelled at a later date or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions.

    *Merchant Categories included in this promotion are those tagged in the system under merchant categories AIRLINE/LODGING/TRAVEL RELATED. These include expenses for airline, hotel, lodging/accommodations, tickets for flights or tours booked with Travel Agencies & Tour Operators, Cruise/Steamship Lines, and Package Tour Operators.

The Priority Pass Program is available to Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of BDO Visa Platinum whose accounts are active and current (i.e. no past due in both Peso and Dollar Accounts). Enrollment is required to avail of the benefit.

Yes, enrollment is on a per Card basis. Both Principal and Supplementary Cards need to be enrolled separately.

No. You can apply for a Priority Pass Card for free.

Yes. The Priority Pass Card has the same expiry date with your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card.

It is renewed along with your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card.

Step 1: Locate the Priority Pass lounge you want to visit.
Step 2: Present your Priority Pass Membership Card to the lounge receptionist.
Step 3: You will be asked to sign a “Record of Visit” Voucher. Prior to signing, please check if the lounge recorded the correct number of guests. In some lounges, your card will be electronically swiped.

Your BDO Visa Platinum will be charged a usage fee of USD25 for your visit and USD29 for your accompanying guest/s per person per visit. Each charge will appear on your Statement of Account.

Yes. If your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card was lost/ stolen/ cancelled, you may call BDO Customer Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000 or email at callcenter@bdo.com.ph to request for the replacement of your Priority Pass Card. You must update your Priority Pass account and provide the new Visa Platinum card number to ensure uninterrupted access.

The Priority Pass membership is linked to your BDO Visa Platinum Credit Card. Upon cancellation of the card, the Priority Pass membership will likewise be cancelled.
