Instead of the February 10, 2023 effectivity as recommended by BSP Circular 1165 adjusting the credit card monthly interest rate to 3% maximum, BDO will provide additional reprieve by extending the adjustment date to March 12, 2023.

Starting March 12, 2023 statement date and onwards, the new monthly interest rate of 3% will apply to all unpaid outstanding credit card balances and shall be subject to review every six (6) months.
 
Existing rates will still be applied to all BDO Credit Card unpaid outstanding balances before the March 12, 2023 statement date.

Yes. Unpaid outstanding credit card balances including Cash Advance transactions will be charged with the 3% monthly interest rate. However, the PHP200 processing fee for Cash Advance transactions will remain as is.
