ShopMore Mastercard Loyalty Program Update

    


UPDATE: TRANSITION TO BDO CREDIT CARD PESO REWARDS PROGRAM
 
Please be advised of the following changes to the Loyalty Program of BDO ShopMore Mastercard (“ShopMore”), beginning March 1, 2024:
  1. The ShopMore Loyalty Program will be integrated to the BDO Credit Card Peso Rewards Program. This will allow more flexibility on how you prefer to enjoy your Rewards:

    • Option to convert earned Peso Points to Cash Credit, or 
    • Option to transfer points to a BDO Rewards Card, on-demand
       
  2. New and Renewal cards will no longer receive FREE SM Advantage Card (SMAC). However, existing SMAC will continue to be valid for Points earning and redemption until expiry date.

  3. All earned and outstanding Peso Points will no longer be transferred to SMAC but will be retained in your ShopMore account. Please refer to your Statement of Account to see Your Credit Card Peso Points Summary.     

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If your ShopMore was issued/approved before March 1, 2024, you will still receive a FREE SMAC. 
  • ShopMore cards that were issued under the following conditions will no longer receive a FREE SMAC: 
    • Approved/issued March 01, 2024 onwards
    • Accounts for Renewal with expiry date March 2024 and onwards (released as early as January 2024) 

  • Points balance that remain unused/unredeemed will be forfeited 3 months after expiry date. 
  • To avoid forfeiture of your points balance, you may choose one from these options:
    • Purchase a SMAC membership from any SM Store branch within 3 months from expiry date and request to carry over the remaining points balance to this new SMAC
    • Create a FREE virtual SMAC Start on smac.ph and link your old SMAC to this virtual account.

Starting March 1, 2024, you can purchase a SMAC membership from any SM Store branch and request to carry over the remaining points balance to the new SMAC (if any).
 

  • Follow-up requests for SMAC delivery can still be accommodated within 6 months from SMAC issuance. You may contact the BDO Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000 to follow-up your SMAC delivery.
  • If the SMAC remains undelivered after 3 failed attempts and already beyond 6 months from SMAC issuance, the request for SMAC re-delivery can no longer be accommodated. You can purchase a SMAC membership from any SM Store branch and request to carry over the remaining points balance to the new SMAC (if any).

Earn 2x Peso Points* for every 1,000 spend anywhere with your ShopMore card. 

*Special offer valid until December 31, 2024
 

Effective March 1, 2024, Peso Points earned will no longer be transferred to SMAC.
 

You may continue to use/redeem the Peso Points loaded to your existing SMAC on or before expiry date. 
 

All unused Peso Points balance will be retained in your ShopMore account and will be reflected in your Statement of Account (SOA). 

Effective March 1,2024, you can redeem your Peso Points through conversion to Cash Credit or transfer to a BDO Rewards Card, via ONLINE using the Credit Card Peso Rewards Online Redemption Form or you may contact the BDO Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000.

Effective March 1, 2024, all Peso Points (earned and outstanding balance) will be reflected in your SOA.
