So you’re interested in investing in Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Stocks. You’ve come to the right place!
 
But before you invest, you must have a Name-on-Central-Depository (NoCD) account, which is required to trade in REITs. Read this article to find out how.
 
There are two types of REITs that are available in the market:
  1. Primary Market or via an Initial Public Offering (IPO) – the offer before it starts trading on the stock market.
  2. Secondary Market - REITs that are currently being traded in the stock market like AREIT and DDMPR.
 
Investing in REITs through BDO Securities
 
Primary Market (IPO)
 
   1. For Online Clients--login to your BDO Securities accout
   2. Click "Buy IPO"
 
 
   3. Select the REIT code
   4. Click Reserve
Please ensure that your settlement account is funded. Shares applied for may be fully or partially allocated or rejected.  Any refund resulting from partial allocation of shares or rejection of reservation will be credited, without interest, directly to client's BDO Securities Settlement Account within 3 business days upon receipt of cleared funds from the issuer.
 
   5. Wait for confirmation
You will receive an email from our Customer Support team confirming your order.
 
 
For Broker-Assisted Clients, reserve by calling the respective Trader or Relationship Manager handling your account.
 
 
Secondary Market
 
   1. For Online Clients--login to your BDO Securities accout
   2. Click "Buy IPO"
 
 
3. Buy/Sell shares of your preferred REIT
