1. This promo is open to BDO Pay users with qualified credit cards mentioned above or a BDO Checking/ Savings account with an active BDO Rewards card. Cardholders must spend at least PHP100 via QR transactions using the BDO Pay app.

Payments via QR using BDO Pay can be done through the following:

a. Scan QR feature of the BDO Pay app, where the customer scans either the printed BDO Pay QR of the merchant, or the BDO Pay QR generated on the merchant’s POS terminal;

b. Show QR feature of the BDO Pay app, where the customer generates a unique QR on their BDO Pay app and presents it to the merchant for scanning; or

c. Upload QR feature of the BDO Pay app, where the customer uploads the merchant’s QR.

Only transactions at the physical stores of official BDO Pay Merchant Partners qualify.

2. Promo period is from November 30, 2022 to February 28, 2023

3. Qualified cardholders will earn 5 Peso Points (1 Peso Point = PHP 1) for every PHP100 single receipt spend via QR transactions using the BDO Pay app.

Points earned will be on top of the existing points he/she will earn for regular credit card transactions.

4. The customer can earn up to PHP5,000 Peso Points for the duration of the promo.

5. The following transactions are excluded from the Promo:

a. Credit Cards transactions from the following Cards:

i. ShopMore Mastercard / Bench Mastercard / Installment Card

ii. All Diners Club Credit Cards

iii. All American Express Cards and Credit Cards

iv. BDO Corporate Cards

b. Transactions from BDO Checking/ Savings account holders with inactive BDO Rewards Cards.

c. Transactions from BDO Checking/ Savings account holders without any BDO Rewards Card.

d. Transactions from BDO Pay Accounts or Upgraded BDO Pay Accounts

e. Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in betting or gambling.

f. QR transactions via the BDO Pay app that are not with BDO Pay Merchant Partners or fund transfers

g. Non-QR transactions via the BDO Pay app 6. All credit card points will be awarded to the Principal Card.

Earning and Crediting of Peso Points

1. Peso Points shall be credited to the member’s account within 60 calendar days after the spend date. In case the customer used both the credit card and the Checking/ Savings account as the source of payment, the bonus Peso Points earned from the promo will be credited to the source of payment.

2. BDO Credit Cards or the BDO Rewards Card must be active upon the time of crediting.

1. Any points credited to the qualified user shall be deemed final unless the customer notifies BDO of mistake in crediting, such as, but not limited to, incorrect crediting or uncredited, within 60 calendar days from the end of the promo period, after which the promotion is considered conclusive.

2. The Peso Points earned from this promo are not redeemable as cash. Bonus Peso Points earned from this promo will be credited to the customer’s Credit Card or BDO Rewards Card.

3. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the Peso Points awarded to the user in the event that the qualifying transactions were disputed or cancelled at a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, or if there is erroneous crediting of the Peso Points.

4. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.

5. The BDO Rewards Card and Credit Card Peso Points redemption process will be governed by the Terms & Conditions of the respective Peso Points program and can be found in BDO’s website.

You’ll know an establishment is a BDO Pay merchant partner if they have at least one of the following:

• A blue sticker or tent card that says Pay With BDO Pay

• A POS terminal that has a BDO Pay logo

Your transactions qualify for Peso Points if the following three conditions are met:

1. You paid via QR using the BDO Pay app at a BDO Pay merchant partner

2. The source account you used for the transaction is a primary credit card that is Peso Points earning, or is a Savings/Checking account with an active Rewards Card

3. Your transaction was at least PHP 100.

Yes. The Peso Points you earn through this are bonus points.

Example breakdown:

Your Peso Points will be credited within 60 calendar days after the qualified spend date. We’ll notify you via SMS and Viber once they’ve been credited.

There is no limit to how many bonus Peso Points you can earn from one transaction, but you can earn up to a total of 5,000 Peso Points across your BDO cards for the entire promo period.

You can earn up to 5,000 Peso Points across your BDO cards for the entire promo period.

Your Peso Points will be credited to whichever credit card(s) you used for your qualified BDO Pay transactions.

For example:

It depends on which source account you used for your transactions. If you used your BDO Credit Card, the points will be credited to that card. If you used your BDO Savings or Checking Account, the points will be credited to your Rewards Card.

If you used both, each card will be credited Peso Points corresponding to the amount spent.

No, exchanging Peso Points for cash is not possible. However, you can exchange it for Cash Credit and use that to pay for your credit card balance or as extra funds for shopping.

If you have a Rewards Card, you can also push your Peso Points to your Rewards Card and shop directly at the SM Store or at your favorite SM Affiliate.
