The promo/spend period is from August 15 to October 15, 2020. The registration period is from August 15 to October 16, 2020. The redemption period must be within 60days from date of receipt of the eGC Code.

To qualify, the Cardmember must use their eligible American Express Card/s issued by BDO to purchase and reach the corresponding minimum single or accumulated local or overseas/international spend requirement as stated below within the promo/spend period: August 15 to October 15, 2020.

All local and international retail, installment, online and Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions are qualified.

The following transactions are EXCLUDED from the promotion:

Any transaction used to register or redeem from other on-going BDO Credit Card Promos

For installment purchases, the principal/full purchase amount shall be considered in the computation of spend.

Purchases must come from one (1) qualified American Express Card. The Basic Card Account is treated separately from the Supplementary Card Account. Only those who have been selected to receive this promo announcement (via Viber or SMS) through their registered mobile number are qualified for the promo. Thus, in case both Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers have been selected to receive the promo announcement a separate spend (Basic or Supplementary Cardmembers are not allowed to combine their charge slips for redemption) and registration is required.

Only qualified Cardmember/s are allowed to redeem. The qualified Cardmember is only eligible to avail of the Promo once during the duration of the Promo, regardless if his/her spend is over and beyond the minimum spend requirement. In case the Cardmember is found by BDO to have made more than one (1) redemption, submitted incomplete or invalid requirements, redeemed using fraudulent schemes or cancels any or all of the qualifying purchases, BDO reserves the right to charge the cost of the complimentary item redeemed at its full price to the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember's BDO American Express Credit Card or directly collect the cost from the Basic or Supplementary Cardmember.

Transactions that have been used to redeem the FREE eGCs will be automatically tagged as redeemed and may no longer be used to avail of other American Express or BDO Promos.

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotions of American Express, BDO Credit Cards, and Partner Merchants. Transaction(s) used to register and/or avail of any American Express or BDO promotion (including SM's 3-day Sale, Activation Offers, BDO Treats Promotion, American Express Treats Promotion, etc.) can no longer be used to redeem the complimentary item in this promotion and vice versa.

The American Express Card should be active and in good credit standing at the time of redemption. Otherwise, the reward item will be forfeited.

In case of dispute pertaining to, but not limited to, the Cardmember's eligiblity, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, fulfillment, BDO's decision will prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardmember's eligibility for the promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with the concurrence of DTI.

Redemption Mechanics

Click here to enroll and completely fill-out the Web Registration Form until October 16, 2020 with the following information:

Promo ID (sent to your mobile number via BDO Deals SMS)

Note: For proper validation, Cardmember should ensure to input the correct PROMO ID sent by BDO via BDO Deals SMS, otherwise, registration will not be processed.

Registration Period is from August 15 to October 16, 2020. Only Cardmembers who were able to register during the prescribed Registration Period will be qualified for the FREE eGC. A separate registration is required for the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember.

Once eGC Code has been forwarded, cancellation of redemption is not allowed.

For qualified Cardmembers, upon successful receipt and validation of the Web Registration Form, an SMS confirmation will be sent to their mobile number registered under his/her American Express Card containing their eGC Code 60 days after registration period.
Note: The Cardmember should make sure their registered mobile number is correct and updated with the bank. Otherwise, they will not be able to receive their eGC Code. -
To redeem the FREE eGCs with the preferred partner merchant, Cardmember must:

Present and submit one (1) Valid Photo ID – can be any of the following: SSS/BIR/PRC ID/ Company ID, Senior Citizen ID or Passport (name must match with the American Express Credit Card presented).

Present the SMS containing the eGC Code from BDO for processing/validation before using it as payment for their shopping transactions.

Present additional identification documents at point of redemption should the partner merchant requests for such.

Present his/her qualified American Express Credit Card at any SM outlet Bills Payment Counter.

Present and submit one (1) Valid Photo ID – can be any of the following: SSS/BIR/PRC ID/ Company ID, Senior Citizen ID or Passport (name must match with the American Express Credit Card presented).

Present the SMS containing the eGC Code from BDO for processing/validation before partner merchant release the actual SM Gift Pass which can be used as payment for their shopping transactions at any The SM Store.

Present additional identification documents at point of redemption should the partner merchant requests for such.

Lazada

Click here to exchange your eGC Code to a Lazada Voucher. The said voucher will be sent via email/SMS and can be used as payment upon checkout at Lazada.

The eGC Code is for one-time use and outright redemption only within the stated redemption period. Any unused eGC Code after the redemption period will be forfieted after sixty (60) days from receipt. If the total value of the eGC is not used up, there will be no cash change.

The eGC is non-refundable, is not convertible to cash, not available for re-sale, and cannot be returned or exchanged.

The eGC may only be used to redeem item from participating partner merchant's regular priced items and therefore not valid during mall wide sale and/or store sale events unless explicitly stated by participating partner merchants. Furthermore, the recognized Suggested Retail Price (SRP) will in exception of any class discount or any other markdown in effect during the store promotion.

The reward items redeemed in this Promotion are subject to the following terms and conditions:

The items are tax-free, non-refundable, not available nor convertible to cash purchase, not available for re-sale, and cannot be returned or exchanged.

The redeemed items are subject to the applicable warranties of partner merchants.

If the price of the item to be purchased using the eGCs is lower than the redeemed amount, the remaining amount can no longer be used to redeem any item and cannot be converted to cash or voucher for future use.

If the price of the item to be purchased is higher than the amount of the redeemed eGCs, the excess amount shall be shouldered by the Cardmember using his/her qualified American Express Card. In the event of a declined transaction, the Cardmember may use another American Express Card or any other BDO Credit Card. Payment of the excess amount using cash or card/s not issued by BDO is strictly prohibited.

Cancellation of redemption and change of item is not allowed once redemption has been processed. The redemption shall be deemed as permanent.
