It could be through dial up (using telephone line); wireless and/or mobile terminals (using GPRS technology, no telephone lines needed), or through a Local Area Network (LAN for merchant with multiple terminals).
Our POS terminals are EMV (Europay, MasterCard, VISA) compliant, which means credit and debit card transactions can be authenticated.
