Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the Card Upgrade

What important changes in my account do I need to take note of?
1. Old Card Deactivation – Your old card will be deactivated 99 days after the issuance of your NEW card. For security purposes, please cut your old card once NEW card is activated. Same applies to your supplementary card/s
2. Delivery schedule of new card – MM/Luzon – 5-7 banking days | VisMin – 10-15 banking days from card issuance date
3. Rewards Points – The rewards points balance of your old Card will be converted to applicable Elite Rewards Program and/or transferred to your NEW card, whichever is applicable.
4. Bills Payment
  - All payment arrangements previously enrolled through BDO will be re-enrolled automatically (e.g. Auto-Charge).
  - For payment arrangements enrolled directly through specific merchants (e.g. Utility Bills, Insurance), please reenroll using your NEW card number to avoid service interruption.
5. Automatic Debit Arrangement (ADA) – Existing ADA will be re-enrolled automatically.
6. BDO Online Banking – For existing users, please re-enroll your NEW card number at www.bdo.com.ph.
7. Annual Membership Fee (AMF) – New Elite Credit Card shall enjoy 1-year AMF waiver which will start upon approval of card upgrade request. The AMF waiver shall not affect and will not result to refund of any membership fee settled prior to the card upgrade. Regular Elite Credit Card membership fee will apply after the 1-year period.

To ensure a seamless transition, some account information will remain the same:

Credit Limit – Your Credit Limit will remain the same.
Statement Date – Your Statement Date will remain the same.
Existing Supplementary Cards – All existing Supplementary Cards linked to your account will also be qualified for the card upgrade and will be processed automatically together with the principal account.
Outstanding Balances – All credit card balances and monthly installments will automatically be transferred to the Upgraded Card.
