Application requirements

  • Must be 21 years old at time of application but not more than 60 years old upon loan maturity
  • Applicant must be a Filipino citizen or a foreigner who is a resident of the Philippines
  • Minimum Gross Fixed Monthly Income Requirement:
    • 15,000 for Salaried Employees
    • 35,000 for Self-Employed / Professionals
  • Regular employee or self-employed with business operating at least two (2) years
  • One (1) landline number in either residence or place of work, or mobile number (postpaid or prepaid)
  • Residence or office address must be within any area where a BDO branch is located

Proof of Identification

Filipino
Any of the following government-issued IDs (front and back)
  • Preferred IDs – Philippine Identification System or Philsys ID, Philippine Passport, Driver’s License, TIN ID, SSS ID or GSIS eCard)
  • Other acceptable IDs – UMID Cards, Voter’s ID, Philippine Postal ID, PRC ID or Philhealth ID
  • Copy of Employment Contract or Certificate of Employment
  • Letter from the Embassy (if Embassy Official)
  • PLUS any of the following:
    • Valid VISA and work permit
    • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Immigrant Certificate of Registration (ICR) or ACR-I
    • Valid passport with any of the following: Special Investors Resident VISA, Special Non-Immigrant VISA for PEZA or VISA with EO226        

 

  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) duly stamped and received by the Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR Form 2316 signed by employer’s authorized representative
  • Latest full month’s payslip
  • Original Certificate of Employment indicating status, service tenure and compensation breakdown
  • If with credit card from other banks, copy of the latest two (2) months statement of credit card existing at least one (1) year
Self-employed / Professionals
Photocopy of the following:
  • Latest Income Tax Return duly stamped as received by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Audited Financial Statements for the last two (2) years (MANDATORY)
  • Registration of Business Name (MANDATORY)
    • For Single proprietorship – issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
    • For Partnerships or Corporations – issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
  • Latest three (3) months bank statement (OPTIONAL)
  • If requested loan amount is more than P1 Million:
    • Latest three (3) months bank statement and at least one (1) trade reference
    • GIS (if company is a corporation)

Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)
  • At least 25 years old at the time of application and up to 65 years old at the time of loan maturity
  • Filipino citizen or former Filipinos with or without dual citizenship
  • Must have at least two (2) years continuous employment contract
  • At least one (1) landline in either local or foreign residence or employment location
  • Gross monthly income of 20,000 or its US$ equivalent
  • With good credit history
Seaman/ Domestic Helpers
  • At least 25 years old at the time of application and up to 65 years old at the time of loan maturity
  • Filipino citizen or former Filipinos with or without dual citizenship
  • Must have at least three (3) years continuous employment contract
  • At least one (1) landline in either local or foreign residence or employment location
  • Gross monthly income of 20,000 or its US$ equivalent
  • With good credit history
  • For seafarers, manning agency must be accredited by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)

Minimum amount that you can borrow is 10,000.00 and maximum is 2 Million. Loan amount is subject to bank approval and will be based on the income documents submitted.
 

You may choose to pay the loan at 6, 12, 18, 24, or 36-month terms.
 

  • Processing Fee - ₱1,300 (Deducted from the loan proceeds)
  • Documentary Stamp Tax Fee – ₱1.50 for every ₱200 approved loan amount or fraction thereof, whichever is higher. Applicable for approved loan amount greater than ₱250,000 or for business purpose (regardless of the amount).
  • Penalty Fee – 5% per month of the unpaid amount due
  • Late Payment Fee – A fee imposed on the unpaid principal using the contractual interest rate
  • Installment Processing Fee – 5% of the outstanding principal balance, or ₱300, whichever is higher. For processing of full payment of outstanding balance before end of payment term.
  • Certification Request Fee – ₱100 per request
