Promo Mechanics:

1. The promotion is open to all NEW BDO Visa Gold Principal and Supplementary Cardholders whose application was received and subsequently approved within December 1, 2017 to January 31, 2018, and those who have been selected to receive the SMS and electronic mailer.

2. Only first time BDO Visa Gold Credit Cardholders (whether as Principal or Supplementary) are eligible to participate in the promo.

3. Qualified Cardholders must use their BDO Visa Gold Credit Card within 3 months from card receipt date or up to April 30, 2018, whichever comes first, and must reach the required spend (single or accumulated) to be entitled to the offers below:

*50% OFF/Upsize Cost will be charged by SM to the new Visa Gold account; payment in cash is not allowed.

4. For accumulated purchases, the minimum amount per charge slip must be P3,000 (for Peso transactions) or USD60 (for Dollar transactions fixed at P50:USD1).

5. Existing Visa Gold Principal and/or Supplementary Cardholders whose cards were upgraded, downgraded, converted, replaced, or renewed and issued, as well as those who voluntarily cancelled their cards within 12 months prior to the promo period are NOT qualified to avail of the offer.

6. Purchases must come from one BDO Visa Gold Credit Card only. Principal Cardholders are not allowed to combine purchases with his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s (if any) in computing for the total Spend Amount.

7. For Cardholders enrolled in the Dual Currency Feature, the spend amount will be computed based on the actual Peso or Dollar value reflected on the billing statement. In cases where Cardholders have transactions in both currencies, the Dollar spend will be converted to Peso using P50:US$1 conversion rate

8. Exclusions:

   1. Transactions from Gas/Petroleum/Service Stations;

   2. Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter and other related fees and charges;

   3. Any type of Bills Payment (Auto Charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, Insurance, Tuition Fee, etc.)

   4. BDO Internal Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, Easy Cash, Easy Convert, Cash-It-Easy, Hospital Installment Program, etc.

   5. Casino, betting or gambling transactions;

   6. Business transactions including but not limited to merchants engaged in wholesale and distribution, direct/multilevel marketing (e.g. Mary Kay, NU Skin, USANA, Herbalife and the like);

9. Transactions from Supermarkets/Drugstores will be accepted subject to the established maximum amount of P50,000 per week regardless whether single or multiple transactions/charge slips. Any amount in excess will not qualify.

10. The Cardholder will be charged the cost of the Freebie should the Cardholder cancel any of the qualifying purchase/s or transaction/s at a later date. Similarly, if a Cardholder is found to have made an invalid redemption, multiple redemptions or have submitted fake charge slips or fake Redemption Form or is found to have redeemed using fraudulent schemes, BDO shall have the right to charge the full cost of the premium item redeemed at prevailing retail price to the Cardholder's BDO Visa Gold Credit Card account or directly collect the cost from the erring Cardholder.governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards.

11. The Freebie is not convertible to cash, non-transferable, non-refundable, and not replaceable when lost.

12. The BDO Visa Gold Activation Promo II cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promos of BDO (e.g. Shop. Choose. Redeem, 50% OFF Dining Privileges, BDO-sponsored rebate promos) and is subject to the Terms & Conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards.

13. In case of dispute but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc. BDO’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.

How to Redeem the Samsonite Red Luggage Freebie:

1. Redemption Period is from December 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

2. Upon reaching the minimum required spend, the Cardholder must completely fill out the Redemption Form with the details indicated below:

   1. Cardholder’s Complete Name

   2. Credit Card Number

   3. Mobile Number (must be the registered number)

   4. Transaction Details (Date, Merchant Name and Amount)

   5. Preferred Redemption Outlet

   6. Freebie/offer to be availed (FREE / at 50% OFF)

3. The Redemption Form is available online and can be downloaded here.
   Note: An Adobe PDF Reader is required to view/edit the form.

4. Cardholder to save and email the Redemption Form to clgmktgops@bdo.com.ph with Subject “Visa Gold Free Samsonite KHARRIS Luggage Promo” within the registration period.

5. All Redemption Forms must be submitted on or before April 30, 2018.

6. Only transactions listed in the Redemption Form will be validated. If the registered transactions did not meet the required spend, redemption will not be processed.

7. An SMS with Promo Code will be sent to the Cardholder’s registered mobile number within seven (7) to ten (10) banking days from successful receipt of the Redemption Form and validation of submitted transactions. The SMS will indicate the redemption period for the Cardholder. Should the redemption be invalid due to incomplete/incorrect information, an SMS will be sent to the Cardholder as well.

8. The free Samsonite RED luggage shall be made available for claiming at the Cardholder’s preferred redemption outlet. Redemption shall be forfeited if the item is left unclaimed after the redemption period. Authorized representatives are NOT allowed.

9. Each Cardholder is entitled to a one-time redemption of the Freebie regardless if he/she has been issued more than one qualified Card.

10. To claim the free Samsonite luggage, the Cardholder must present the following:

    1. SMS notification from BDO

    2. A valid photo ID

    3. Qualified BDO Visa Gold Credit Card

    4. The Visa Gold Credit Card will be swiped and Promo Code will be keyed-in for validation using the Promo Redemption Terminal.

11. Option to Upsize:
    Cardholders have the option to upsize to Samsonite Red KHARRIS Hard Side SP 76/28 for a corresponding add-on amount to be charged by SM to the Cardholder’s new BDO Visa Gold Credit Card account at point of redemption.
