BDO Insure launches an online channel to insure travelling Filipinos

2022 August – Securing a travel insurance has never been more relevant and necessary for travelers in this prevailing environment. With international borders opening up and restrictions relaxing, tourism is expected to pick-up its pace and recover from its slump over the past few years.

Travel insurance provides tourists with protection against financial loss due to medical emergencies and other covered unexpected events, such as cancelled trips and lost baggage incurred during trips.

To make it easier and more convenient for more travelers to avail travel insurance plans with COVID-19 coverage, BDO Insure has launched an online channel that can be accessed using any mobile device, laptop or desktop computer.

Here are the steps:

1.    Visit www.bdo.com.ph/bdoinsure/travel

2.    Choose among three travel insurance packages (Domestic, International, or International P2.5M) by clicking on “Buy now.” For Domestic, click on “Proceed to purchase” when a pop-up window opens. For both International options, select a plan before clicking on “Buy now” again then “Proceed to Purchase” when a pop-up window

3.    On the pop-window, fill out your personal information and use either credit or debit card to complete your payment. Expect your official policy and receipt via email.

“We assure Filipino travelers that BDO Insure, as their insurance broker, will be with them every step of the way, from purchasing the travel insurance to claiming its benefits, so they can just focus on their business trip or vacation," said Ma. Theresa L. Tan, General Manager of BDO Insure.
