2021 July – In 1994, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) declared June 30 to July 6 as Savings Consciousness Week in the Philippines. Every year thereafter, banks and financial institutions have participated by creating awareness on the importance of saving and the role it plays in shaping the country’s economy.

This year’s theme, “Pinagpagurang pera ay ingatan, pag-iimpok sa bangko ay simulan,” has never been more important to remember than today.
