Step 1. If you are a new to BDO or not an existing BDO client, in your mobile/tablet/desktop to https://www.bdo.com.ph/anywhere and select ‘Start Now’ or ‘Online Application’. Alternatively go to the official website www.bdo.com.ph and visit the page (under the left menu->eBanking->BDO Online Account Opening)
If you are already an existing BDO client, you may skip this process and go directly to your BDO branch.
Step 2. Read and accept Terms and Condition. You can save a copy of the Terms and Condition by clicking “Print”.
Step 3. Select your current location.
Step 4. Select your preferred BDO branch in the Philippines You may do this by clicking “Select BDO branch Near Me” or selecting from the drop down list. This is the BDO branch where you will go personally and present the account opening requirements. Hence, it is advisable to select a BDO branch that is convenient to your current home/business/work location.
Step 5. Accomplish the application form. Mandatory fields are marked with asterisk (*).
Step 6 (optional). You can attach an image of your valid ID from your computer or by taking a picture using your device camera. Ensure that your camera is at the required setting since the maximum accepted file size is only 2MB.
Step 7. Nominate a new BDO Online Banking user name, Password, Challenge Question and Answer. Please remember these information as they will be used upon account creation and Online Banking Log-in.
User ID should be 7-15 alphanumeric characters. Password should be:
- 7 – 20 characters
- Must not be same as user ID
- Must contain uppercase, lowercase, number and special characters. Special characters such as {!#$%^&’;”} are not allowed.
- Must not contain consecutive characters (example: abc, 678)
Step 8. Review application form. If you need to correct some details, you may go back to the previous page by clicking the number on the progress bar. Note that doing this requires that you must re-encode the Online Banking details once you reach the Online Banking Enrollment tab.
Step 9. Scroll down below to the Branch Appointment section. You must select the date and time you are available to go to your selected branch. Refer to the list of branches and their available time and days.
Step 10. Click submit. You will receive an email notification containing the application reference number and branch appointment details.
Step 11. Visit your BDO branch on your scheduled date and time. Proceed to the account opening section and present the reference and valid ID. An authorized BDO personnel will evaluate your application based on existing account opening policies of BDO.
Step 12. Once your application has been approved, you may log-in in BDO Online Banking the next banking day.
